Southend Hospital Charity Shop Volunteers

If you haven’t quite managed to put into action that New Year’s resolution to help others, there’s still time. And the brand new Southend Hospital Charity shop at Leigh-on-Sea could have the perfect opportunity for you. We’re appealing for local people with time to spare to join our busy team at our newest shop at 65 Broadway West, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 2BX. Volunteers will help with tasks including sorting and displaying stock, dressing the window and serving customers.

CAVS Befriending scheme needs Volunteers

Give something back to the community!

Do you live in Castlepoint, Basildon or Rochford District?

The Castle Point Association of Voluntary Service's Befriending Scheme is in the process of reaching out to the Rochford District. Funded by the Castle Point and Rochford CCG & Family Mosiac, it has been very sucessful helping people over the age of 18 from feeling lonely and isolated.

U First Require Volunteers

Looking for any volunteers who can spare as little as a couple of hours per week to help run drop-ins, social events or give our members lift to these activities. There's also admin, cleaning and fundraising opportunities.

Volunteers will receive training, can gain valuable work experience and can have all their expenses paid.
